Randy Woolsey

RandyRandy Woolsey is a paralegal at Kent Law with over 28 years of insurance and litigation experience in Northern Nevada. Randy graduated from the University of Nevada with a degree in Business Administration and worked twenty years for Farmers Insurance Exchange as a litigation adjuster and supervisor. Randy also worked eight years as an office manager/paralegal for a plaintiff’s law firm in Reno, Nevada. Randy is the father of one adult son and spends his free time snow skiing, golfing, traveling and enjoys attending the University of Nevada’s football and basketball games.

Janeen Russo


Janeen Russo was born in Brooklyn, New York and was raised in Queens, New York.  A week after graduating from Richmond Hill High School in July 1985, Janeen began her secretarial career with the Queens County District Attorney’s Office. Over the years, Janeen has worked in Manhattan, New York in the mortgage banking field, and worked for a labor and employment attorney for over 11 years in Commack, New York.  Janeen relocated to Nevada in January 2016 with her two kittens, Binx and Gracie, by driving from New York to Reno and has joined our firm bringing 31 years of experience to Kent Law.  Janeen has two adult children that live in New York with Janeen’s eight cats and Corgi dog, Daffy.

John Ellis


John Ellis is a law clerk with Kent Law, and he is a graduate of Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon.  John completed his undergraduate education “with highest scholarship” at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon.  In 1991, John received two Certificates “With Distinction” from the University of California in Davis, California, in Microcomputer Office Systems Management and in Computer Studies and Data Processing.  At the age of 19, John was employed as a systems programmer for the Artificial Intelligence Group at Stanford Research Institute in Menlo Park, California, and he currently is an alumnus of SRI International.  John has over 37 years of experience in legal research and writing, and since 1991 he has lived and worked in Reno.

Holly Mitchell, PLS

Holly’s legal career started thirty years ago with the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of the U.S. Trustee. Since then, she has worked for the Executive Office of Immigration Review in San Francisco, CA, numerous law firms in various areas of law including bankruptcy, family law, immigration, litigation and commercial law.
Holly is a native Nevadan and attended and graduated from schools in the Reno/Sparks area. Holly is also a member of NALS and NALA and has been a local and national leader in NALS. She is the proud mother of four children, has three wonderful grandsons and is happily married to her husband, Dan, for twenty years. In her spare time Holly enjoys genealogy, crafting, repurposing furniture and baton twirling.
